Amsterdam is a city of architectural history, intense culture and infamous night life, and as the capital city of the Netherlands, host to over 4 million visitors a year. To some it might seem as though that statistic peaked during the 13th – 15th of September when entertainment technology business seekers and enthusiasts fill the exhibit halls of IBC – and we mean FILL.
Speaking of crowds – Sony Media Cloud Services may not have been serving up drinks at the Ci Bar on the Sony booth, but the masses of onlookers and enthusiastic murmurs flowing over the booth floor told another story. Edged together in a space that looked more like a cool Amsterdam night club glowing with LED backlight and ceiling projection and less like the technology exhibit of yesteryear, onlookers found themselves excited, intrigued and asking for more. More of what, you ask? Ci. Or the all new Ci apps to be precise.
From Ci RoughtCut, an all new intuitive editing app, to Ci WorkSpace, which gives users the ability to instantly collaborate on video files with anyone on their team from anywhere in the world – Ci was serving up the oooo’s and ahhhhh’s one glass at a time. Camera to cloud integration and our all new Ci Capture app, which enables video delivery straight to the cloud either from the Sony CBK-WA100 wireless camera adapter or from your iPhone (yeah, really!), practically had a few folks dancing. All in all, it was a party not to be missed. But in case you did (or just want to relive the fun) here are some highlights from the event.
Ci you on the creative side!
We’re more of the behind the scene kind of guys (and gals), but the cameras found their way to our party and we were ready for our closeup. Tell us how we did!

It may not be the red carpet, but people were asking: Who are you wearing? From hoodies to socks-turned-gloves (by some of our more creative staffers), Ci wear was spotted all over Amsterdam and if we do say so ourselves, looking Cirously awesome.
